Specific duties as a Jr. Web Designer may include:
- Developing and maintaining website layouts and user interfaces using HTML, CSS, jQuery and JavaScript.
- Should have a working experience with bootstrap and tailwind.
- Experience with CSS3, Sass/LESS, and Mixins.
- Experience with WordPress front design with and without website builders.
- Working with code versioning tools such as Git, Bitbucket.
- Able to create and use creative animation libraries.
- Testing websites for functionality, usability, SEO principles, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code that follows industry standards and best practices.
- Collaborating with designers and other developers to ensure that websites are visually appealing and meet the needs of users.
- Troubleshooting and fixing bugs in existing websites.
- Optimizing website performance to ensure fast page load times and smooth user experience.
- Communicating with clients and stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide solutions that meet their needs.
Considered as an advantage
- Worked with Angular.js and Webflow.
- Knowledge of React, Redux, Flux, and Webpack.
- Do Basic WordPress development.
