Project Manager

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Project Manager with proficiency in Scrum methodologies to lead and steer our technical teams. The ideal candidate will balance technical expertise with adept Scrum facilitation, ensuring projects are not just completed, but realized in the most efficient way possible. They will work closely with Product teams, developers and stakeholders to ensure timely and effective delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and lead diverse IT projects from conceptualization to completion.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management.
• Develop comprehensive project plans ensuring timely delivery, resource optimization, and alignment with company goals.
• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders.
• Estimate resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
• Monitor and report on project milestones, delivering consistent status updates to stakeholders.
• Protect the team from external interruptions and distractions, enabling them to focus on their tasks.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies: Daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensure that Scrum practices are followed by the team and help eliminate any obstacles the team might face.
• Conduct regular meetings for requirements gathering, project reviews, risk assessments, and status updates.
• Mentor and coach the team on Scrum practices, ensuring continuous process improvement.
• Maintain the Scrum artifacts, including the product and sprint backlogs.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement in both project delivery and Scrum processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless integration and product delivery.
• Act as a bridge between the product owners, stakeholders, and development team, ensuring clear communication across all parties.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Project Manager role, focusing on IT projects, with a significant portion in a Scrum Master capacity.
• Proven track record of successful IT project delivery using Scrum methodologies.
• Strong background in software development.
• Proficient in modern project management tools and methodologies.
• Deep understanding of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and other project management practices.
• Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or similar) is a must.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team, mediate conflicts, and drive results.
• Capability to juggle multiple projects and manage competing priorities.
