Responsibilities
- Develop new user-facing features
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
- Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
- Conceptualizing creative ideas with clients.
- Testing and improving the design of the website.
- Establishing design guidelines, standards, and best practices.
Skills
- Proficiency in front-end development web programming languages such as HTML and CSS, JQuery, web markup, including HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.
- Proficient understanding of Server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
- Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
- Good understanding of content management systems & the knowledge of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as AngularJS & ReactJS
- Proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and other visual design tools.
- Good understanding of search engine optimization principles.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues.
- Up-to-date experience with international web protocols, standards, and technologies.
- Adaptable and willing to learn new techniques.
- Excellent communication skills.
