Business Development Executive – Product

About Us :

We are a fast-growing technology company with multiple software products used by global customers. As we expand into international markets, we are looking for a motivated Junior Business Development Executive to support our overseas sales initiatives.

Role Summary : You will assist in building a consistent international revenue pipeline by supporting territory planning, lead generation, research, outreach, and basic qualification. You’ll collaborate closely with Senior Business Development Executives and cross-functional teams across Product, Marketing, Legal, and Operations. The role provides hands-on exposure to enterprise sales processes, international markets, and global client engagement.


Key Responsibilities:

Territory & ICP Support: Research target geographies, verticals, and Ideal Customer Profiles (ICP) and maintain updated territory notes and prospect lists.

Pipeline Generation: Conduct outbound prospecting, qualify inbound leads, and ensure accurate CRM updates for all lead activities.

Sales Support: Assist senior executives during calls and demos by preparing notes, documentation, and follow-up actions.

Value Communication: Learn product benefits, understand customer pain points, and tailor outreach messaging for different regions.

Partnership & Channel Assistance: Research and shortlist potential partners while maintaining partner documentation and communication logs.

Account Support & Growth: Track account plans and expansion opportunities and identify basic upsell or cross-sell signals for escalation.

Issue Tracking: Coordinate internally to track client issues and ensure timely escalation to Product, Operations, or Legal.

Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor updates, market trends, and regulatory changes and present insights in concise internal summaries.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Support Marketing and Product teams with campaign inputs, prospect data, and customer requirement clarifications.

Reporting: Prepare weekly outreach reports and maintain dashboards for pipeline visibility and team performance tracking.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in English is essential.
  • Strong research abilities to understand international markets and customer profiles.
  • Basic understanding of sales processes, lead qualification, and CRM usage (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.).
  • Highly motivated, organised, and eager to learn enterprise/global sales practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with SaaS, software products, or technology services.
  • Knowledge of outbound sales tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, Lusha, etc.
  • Exposure to sales frameworks like BANT, SPIN, or value-selling basics.
  • Additional languages are a plus.
  • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Business, or related field.
