Brief
VaultLedger is a gold-backed stablecoin and digital asset compliance platform designed to connect physical gold reserves with blockchain-based token ownership. The system allows users to mint asset-backed tokens against verified vaulted gold and redeem tokens through a structured burn and fulfillment process.
The platform includes a responsive user dashboard where users can register, complete KYC, view wallet balances, monitor portfolio value, track gold-backed token holdings, and manage minting or redemption transactions. Oracle-based price feeds and reserve data help display current token value, gold equivalent, fiat value, and reserve ratio.
VaultLedger also includes an admin and compliance backend for managing users, mint/burn transactions, fees, roles, permissions, KYC review, custodian reconciliation, AML screening, STR/SAR workflows, audit logs, and regulatory reporting. The system is built to support transparent, compliant, and auditable asset-backed token operations.
Solution
The solution was designed as an end-to-end Web3 platform combining smart contracts, custodian APIs, oracle infrastructure, compliance workflows, and responsive web dashboards. Smart contracts handle token minting, burning, access control, and reserve-backed ownership logic, while the backend connects user activity, admin approvals, transaction records, and third-party integrations.
For users, the platform provides a simplified flow to deposit gold, mint tokens, view asset value, track transaction status, and initiate redemption. Each transaction includes status timelines, token/gram details, vault information, fees, on-chain hash records, and notification updates to keep the user informed across the full lifecycle.
For administrators and compliance teams, the platform provides operational control through transaction management, mint/burn approval workflows, user management, KYC status review, policy limits, Go-AML reporting, suspicious transaction flagging, custodian reconciliation, and audit-ready activity logs. This creates a secure, transparent, and regulator-ready infrastructure for gold-backed digital asset issuance.
Core Platform Capabilities
Gold-Backed Stablecoin Minting
Users can deposit physical gold or initiate supported purchase flows, after which verified gold reserves trigger token minting through smart contracts.
Physical Gold Redemption
Users can redeem stablecoin tokens against vaulted gold, with burn execution, custodian coordination, fulfillment status, and delivery tracking.
Proof-of-Reserve Integration
Oracle-based reserve verification allows the platform to display reserve ratio, current gold price, and asset-backed token valuation.
Smart Contract Infrastructure
The platform uses blockchain-based smart contracts for minting, burning, access control, and token lifecycle management.
Custodian API Integration
Physical gold deposit, withdrawal, vault verification, reconciliation, and fulfillment data are connected through custodian APIs.
KYC & Compliance Flow
Users complete KYC verification before accessing full platform features, with status tracking for Not Started, In Progress, Approved, or Declined.
AML & STR Automation
The platform supports suspicious transaction flagging, AML review workflows, STR/SAR generation, and compliance reporting.
User Investment Dashboard
Users can view token balance, gold equivalent, fiat value, portfolio charts, current token price, recent transactions, and wallet balance.
Development
The platform was developed as a responsive web application with a user dashboard and admin backend. The user side focuses on registration, KYC status, wallet balance, portfolio overview, minting, redemption, transaction history, and account management.
The backend was built to manage users, transactions, notifications, compliance workflows, admin controls, and third-party integrations. It connects the platform with custodian APIs, KYC services, oracle price feeds, and Go-AML reporting systems.
Smart contracts were developed on Polygon using Solidity and Hardhat. These contracts handle gold-backed token minting, burning, access control, and reserve-linked ownership logic.
The admin panel was developed to support user management, mint/burn approvals, fees, roles and permissions, AML review, STR/SAR workflows, audit logs, and regulatory reporting. This helped make the platform secure, traceable, and compliance-ready.
